  1. Preheat oven to 218°C/425°F

  3. Put the butter inside the bowl and microwave it at high temperature for 10 seconds
  4. Take out the bowl from the microwave and whisk until completely smooth
  5. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream, mix it until well combined
  6. Take another bowl and sift the flour and cocoa powder, add baking soda and salt afterward, then whisk the dry ingredients together
  7. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix it well
  8. Pour the batter into the muffin cup and fill every cup all the way to the top
  9. Bake the muffins for 15 minutes in the oven or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffins comes out clean
  10. Take the chocolate muffins out of the oven after
  11. Transfer to a wire rack and then let them cool ar room temperature
  12. When they're cool, you can decorate the muffins as you wish and serve them
